Install Patrimo

Patrimo runs in a browser and installs like an app, on phones as well as computers. The Android file is there for anyone who would rather install it themselves.

From your browser, in three steps

Android — Chrome

Open Patrimo in Chrome and sign in once.
Tap the browser menu, then “Install app” (or “Add to Home screen”).
Confirm: Patrimo joins your home screen and opens in a window of its own.

iPhone and iPad — Safari

Open Patrimo in Safari — installing does not work from any other browser on iOS.
Tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen”.
Confirm: Patrimo then opens full screen, with no address bar.

On a computer, Chrome and Edge show an install icon in the address bar. Firefox and Safari simply open the site: the features are exactly the same.

Android file

The same software, packaged for Android and signed by us. Useful to install the app yourself, or to roll it out across a team's phones.

Before installing, compare the checksum: sha256sum patrimo.apk on Linux, shasum -a 256 patrimo.apk on macOS, Get-FileHash patrimo.apk on Windows. It must match the one above character for character.

Installing the APK, step by step

Download the APK from the phone itself, using the button above.
Open it. Android refuses the first time and offers a setting: allow “Install unknown apps” for the browser that just downloaded the file.
Go back to the download notification, tap the file again, then “Install”.
Revoke the permission once the install is done: Settings, Apps, Special app access.

An app installed outside the Play Store does not update itself. Come back to this page to pick up the next version.
